Harsh Reality- # 19

In this photo, a pile of trash is the main focus, while two women walk past with a little boy. Sadly, this is not an uncommon sight. People litter here all the time, or just pile up trash as seen here. This would be a much more beautiful place if it was just cleaned up.

One man's trash is another man's treasure:) Makes me miss driving those short cuts behind all of the buildings!!!

That is a sad picture. Does it ever get hauled away or is there forever? It makes me wonder if some of the peoples apartments look just the same way.
Its a good picture of a harsh reality.

Thanks photowannabe, Eventually it gets taken away, not sure where it goes though. If you lood in some of the other pics, you can see trash in the background or in the streets: make a wish..., ship wreck, volleyball

I think it says something about the people that do it.

Its nice that you post all sides of Kuwait - it gives a balanced sense of the country - I am surprised a country with so much wealth that they would not find a better means of disposing unwanted items - but I guess as Laurie said, one mans trash is another mans treasure - except, there doesnt seem to be too many people interested in this treasure at the moment as it looks to be piling up but its a great subject for a post.
